Once the ball, mount and sensor axles are all clean it’s time to reassemble everything. Getting the roller-ball assembly back together is probably the trickiest part.
Place the metal liner in the base of the black outer housing. Place the sensor on this and then place the clear plastic mount on that.
Drop the 4 sensor magnets into place along with the ball then secure it all into place with the white retainer.
Screw the re-assembled unit back into place using the 3 screws, making sure the ribbon cable slots between the touch sensor cable.
